Ever wondered how do I make a bow? The Longbow Shop would like to personally recommend this 2 day course in how to make bows. We have attended it personally and can highly recommend Lee's course to any aspiring bowmaker of any level of expertise. Lee Ankers the owner and bowyer of Heritage Longbows will teach you the following:

• How to glue up your bow stave
• Marking out
• Cutting out your stave
• Shaping the stave
• Tillering your bow
• Making and fitting horn nocks from scratch
• Final finishing
• Flemish string making
• How to shoot your bow

Learn how to make your own laminated bow from start to finish in Heritage Longbow's workshop (near Stafford) where they make all their bows.  You'll walk away with your bow proudly in hand. There's no garden shed tuition on this course as you can see from the photos! It's all hands on and you'll be very busy all day!

The price includes lunch on both days and as much coffee or tea as you can drink!
