The Falco Trophy has been the flagship of the Falco collection for many years. A bow of exceptional shooting qualities and stability, it has accompanied many top archers in competition throughout Europe and worldwide and taken a lot of first places including a British Flight record. The Falco Trophy Vintage is a bow that is almost always custom made for the specific archer and is highly customisable according to the requirements of the archer. With a wide choice of materials there is a possibility to combine different rare and exclusive woods to make a truly unique and eye-catching piece of art. Falco believe that the bow must be in addition to its premium shooting qualities also a work of art.
The use of exotic wood also provides weight and stability to the bow riser which is true for heavy wood such as ebony, palisander or other wood types that sink in water. In partnership with the Finnish company CWP, Falco also offer 2 or 3-colour combinations of what they call 'colourwood' - deep coloured wood made with patented technology. There are 12 tones of colour and all combinations of them can be used in the riser.
The bow handle is custom hand-made and is fitted into the palm perfectly offering comfort and stability for shooting. The choice of handle types include the standard low wrist grip with the included "Falco finger-cut" and a higher wrist grip pistol handle unique for Falco longbows. For those who want maximum bow efficiency and greater arrow speed, Falco also offer the possibility to add extra Carbon layers in the limbs. For those who want a really unique and high-end bow, they can also offer rattlesnake skin backing on the front side of the limbs.
Riser wood choice: Palisander, macassar ebony (only as accent), curly birch, padouk, zebrano, american walnut, bocote, cocobolo, wenge, bubinga, lacewood. Also Colorwood 2 or 3-coloured combinations.
Front and back side of the bow: Under the transparent lamination we can use decorative veneers of any of the following wood types: palisander, macassar ebony, bubinga, zebrano, curly birch, bird's eye maple, olive ash etc.

I ordered my custom trophy vintage several weeks back and was extremely pleased with all the help and advice I received while choosing woods etc. Being the type of person who likes to make a statement I wanted a bow that not only performed well but would be a head turner. I went for a combination of dark palisander/cocobolo with light curly birch, double carbon and pistol grip. I then expected to sit back and wait for at least 8 weeks for it to arrive. Not at the longbow shop, just under 6 weeks and hey presto and boy did those bowyers at Falco perform some magic!! The bow exceeds all expectations in every department, looks, craftsmanship and performance. It has been a pleasure to deal with The Longbow Shop yet again, the service as always was second to none and the bow – well let's say I'm the cat that definitely got the cream!!!

I ordered my Custom Flatbow last year and found the staff really helpful and friendly.
The bow is 50 lbs and the woods are Maccasar Ebony and Curly Birch with carbon inlays and high gloss finish. It shoots like a dream, very fast and very quiet; a really excellent bow.
I shoot flight and recently shot over 230 yards with ease.
Both the bow and the Longbow shop staff have far exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend both.

Ordered my bow direct from Falco Just before this site was up and running properly. Regardless of that I still heartily recommend both the Bow and this company. The bow has a maccasar ebony handle with palisander belly and face, it looks a million dollars and is far better than I am. It is 40 Lb's @ 28" and even at my 29-30" draw gives no hand shock to speak of. the semi-mat finish shows the wood off a treat.
If you are looking for a stunning bow with excellent performance for a reasonable price buy one now!
