About Us
The Longbow Shop was established in 2004 and is based in the North West of England. We provide high quality, handmade longbow arrows and traditional archery supplies.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through our Shop and click on any items that you wish to buy and click the 'Add to basket' button. After you have finished your selection, click on 'View Basket' and you will be asked for a few details such as address etc so that we can finalise shipping details and costs.

We accept credit card payment, cheque/postal order and Paypal. If you are shopping from Europe or North America please change the currency on the front page to view prices correctly.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Maestro, Solo and Switch. Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

Shipping and Handling
All major credit cards excepted & Switch. When ordering please have your order ready with your (credit card number, expiry date, issue number if you are using a switch card).  We will also need your contact telephone number and the delivery address which will be taken on checkout.

Your order will be processed when your funds have cleared. Please allow 7 working days from date banking to your order being dispatched to you.

Cheque from other countries made payable to: 'The Longbow Shop' and made out in pounds sterling (GBP).

Your order will be processed when your cheque has cleared. Allow 28 working days from date of banking to your order being dispatched to you. All bank charges are the responsibility of the purchaser approx. £5.00 per transaction

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
 
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.
 

Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
 

Guarantee
All goods are thoroughly examined and tested before being packed and dispatched to you by trained members of staff (Damaged or faulty goods) must be returned to us at:

On receiving such goods they will be examined and Replaced, Repaired, or a credit issued.
All goods we supply are of First Class quality and fully guaranteed subject to manufactures warrantee

Refunds
We will refund  any goods if returned to us within 14 days in same state as dispatched. Refunds will be given once goods are returned at cost minus any postage. Return postage is the buyers responsibility unless goods are faulty.
