Archery for Schools
We run archery sessions in primary and secondary schools throughout the north west from small to large schools. Our qualified Archery GB coaches can bring archery to your school easily and safely with events to suit all ages.
We provide school archery programmes for ages 6 to 18 and our archery sessions can be run as before or after school clubs or as a one-off taster event. We can offer archery sessions over half days, full days, special activity based weeks or longer term school projects.
Please give us a call on 0151 652 6653 or email us to discuss your requirements.
Depending on the age of the students we have several options available. For primary schools we can introduce archery through Archery GB’s ‘Arrows’ a safe and fun way to learn how to shoot. For the older children years 3 and up we can run archery with training bows and traditional arrows all with one to one coaching supervision.
Our archery coaches
Our coaches are Archery GB qualified to at least Level 1 UKCC standard and all have enhanced DBS clearance, child protection course certification plus we also carry full specific archery insurance to run all our events as a mobile unit or in our purpose built archery centre in Birkenhead. We can also carry out and supply any necessary risk assessments.
Archery is a low impact sport that is physically and mentally challenging. The many benefits from archery include: improving mental capacity, physical health and general fitness. Archery can also improve patience and focus and can give the student a strong sense of personal achievement.
