About Ghost Bows and Piero Stobbia
Piero Stobbia always loved archery and found his passion in traditional bows. He loved working with wood and when the day came that he started looking to upgrade his 'cheapy' bow he was surprised to see the variety and styles out there and became increasingly aware of the newfound momentum and interest in Traditional Archery worldwide. Piero just could not find 'the bow' for him. So he set out on this amazing journey and decided to learn and make his own bow. From a small workshop base, he started making his own modern reflex-deflex, one-piece flatbow designs and loved the challenges and the uniqueness of each bow. Each one is truly handcrafted and unique.
Each bow turned out to be a lesson and the satisfaction of building and creating a unique individual piece every time. This set him on a journey to combine his hobby and passion into a living. He firmly believes everyone should make a living from what they love and not just have an everyday job to make their living.
The challenge with Ghost bows was to come up with a design that provides consistency and performs consistently with the ability to customise the look and feel to everyone’s requirements without compromising on functionality or quality.
His aim for the custom bows represents the highest level of handmade quality using the best materials available. Piero tries to provide Ghost Bows customers with access to a large selection of exotic and action wood combinations.
Every custom bow is designed to the specification of the customer which results in a one-of-a-kind product in the hands of every Ghost Bow customer.
