With sweeping lines and fantastic attention to detail, this horse bow is fast, smooth and elegant. The Solak Turkish Horse bow can be drawn to 32" but also performs equally well on shorter draw lengths. Highly practical for field shooting but great for any form of archery. Construction strengthened with Stable Core for maximum stability. For left and right-handed archers.
The bow comes with a waterproof bow bag and string.
Named for the archer bodyguard of the Ottoman Sultans, this is Paragon's most compact bow, based on the classic Ottoman target and war bows. Probably the most efficient design prior to the 20th century, the Ottoman bow generated lightning speed from moderate draw lengths. Rob has adopted this design to enable a longer than traditional draw without compromising either the elegant lines or the speed of the original. Easy to maintain and shoot, the Solak Turkish Horse Bow is serious fun for any archer.
HOW TO STRING A HORSE BOW
String using the traditional step through method video showing you below - be careful not to twist your limbs while stringing as this will void any warranty.
About Paragon Bows
Robert Pozderka was born and raised in Hungary and has family origins in the Puszta, the Great Hungarian Plain. His interest in traditional archery developed as a child but blossomed into a true passion after settling in Manchester over ten years ago. This passion led Rob to study and build traditional Asiatic composite bows, the original designs behind modern 'recurve' bows. His hands-on research included painstaking examination of many original specimens in the magnificent Manchester Archery Collection housed at Manchester Museum. Rob's determination to accurately recreate these bows using modern laminate technology begins with arguably the most elegant design, The Tatar."
Every single Paragon Bow is handcrafted by Robert Pozderka and comes with a 12 month warranty from the day of purchase/shipping. Customer inflicted damages such as incorrectly stringing or shooting the bow or modifying the bow in any way will void the warranty. Please ensure you know how to string and shoot these bows before purchasing.
If the warranty claim is approved It is at Robert's discretion whether to repair or replace the damaged bow.
