Simon has been making bows for over ten years. He started with simple wooden self bows and soon after that laminated longbows. Studying a variety of bows he became interested in traditional bows from the Middle-East and Asia which led him discover new bow making techniques involving modern materials. Simon's passion comes from being part of the whole process. Laying out the ‘raw materials’ put them together, shape them and as a result make a piece of art you can use.

How to String your Simons bow Follow the steps illustrated in the image to string your bow.
Make sure the loop of the string at the lower bow tip sits securely in the groove and keep the string slightly taught while performing the bending of the limbs
Before you let the bow slowly go, look down at the lower limb making sure the string is firmly seated in the nock and on the limb, not off to the side. Only then release the tension and step out of the bow
After stringing check if both loops fit securely in the string grooves and see if the siyahs (recurved tips) are not twisted!
For unstringing, reverse the process
This method is only suited for stringing horsebows by Simon’s Bow Company. Other types of bows are best strung with a bow stringer.
