I have used a longshot bag for my current hunter recurve and its been fine, but I have a new more expensive bow arriving soon and wanted something a little more protective. This bag is padded without being too heavy, the Velcro fastening is very wide and strong, the removable strap is there if you want to use it, there is a webbing hanging loop at the top and best of all the pocket is easily big enough for a traditional bracer, strings, stringer, gloves, tabs and anything else you might want to carry. Really impressed, and the pictures don't really do it justice. Yes it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. This will last forever. Quick efficient service as usual from The Longbow shop as well so I am very happy.
