New to Warbows?
Many of our warbows are built to specifications drawn from the bows recovered from the Mary Rose — Henry VIII's flagship, and the source of most of what's known today about genuine medieval draw weights. These are specialist bows, not beginner equipment: draw weights typically start where most longbow archers' top range finishes from 70lb+, and shooting one properly takes conditioning built up gradually rather than attempted on day one.
